Tsukiji Fish Market
One of the largest fish markets which has over 80 years history .
The “Tsukiji” market originated from the temporary Tokyo fish market built just after the great Kanto earthquake in 1923. Since its formal inauguration in 1935, every single morning at 6am, tuna auctions have taken place. This auction is a very unique type of auction and very popular among Japanese as well as foreign tourists.
