Kitsuneya Kitsuneya

Kitsuneya

You should not miss “Kitsuneya” restaurant.

The “Kitsuneya” is the most popular restaurant in the side streets just outside of “Tsukiji” fish market. Their number one dish is their innard rice bowl dish, well-known as B degree food (reasonably priced but very delicious). The restaurant is not big, there are five seats at the counter and two tables for standing and eating. The sweet sauce in the cooking pot at the counter will stimulate your appetite with its delicious aroma.

The popular “Innard rice bowl” is sweet and tender.

The “Kitsuneya Innard rice bowl” is made with a sauce which has been passed down since the foundation of the restaurant. The innards are enriched with the sauce when they are boiled together in a large pot. From its looks, you may think that the taste is very strong but it actually has a delicate flavour. During holidays, there is usually a long line outside. However, you should not miss eating this “Kitsuneya” rice bowl.
